Job Title: Merchandiser (Pearland Area)

Department: Sales

 

Job Summary:

The Merchandiser is responsible for assisting in all activities relating to the sale, service, and merchandising of all products sold by Faust Distributing Company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandise all assigned accounts in a timely, thorough and professional manner including coolers, displays, hot shelves and singles bins.  Ensure all tasks are completed to company standard.

 

Maintain back stock in a neat and orderly manner.  Work closely with sales representative and customer service to ensure proper rotation of all products sold, including, but not limited to cooler shelves, hot shelves, displays, singles bins and back stock.

 

Build effective, striking displays in the primary position on all retail ad features and promotional packages with appropriate Point of Sale material. 

 

Merchandiser projects a positive, determined, and professional attitude.

 

Skills / Requirements:

Clean MVR

Obtain a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission license and permit

Read, write and speak English

Excellent communication skills

Work a flexible schedule, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays


Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move and position products weighing up to 40 pounds 

Maneuver a cart with product weighing up to 150 pounds

Regularly bend, stoop, and crouch to stock and organize products

Typically spends 30% of the time operating a company vehicle

Job Title: Warehouseman (Night Shift)

Department: Warehouse

  

Job Summary:

Provide support in all warehousing operations to ensure customer orders are filled accurately, inventory is maintained by code date, delivery vehicles are loaded / unloaded safely, and to monitor product levels to ensure continuous operations during the shift. 

  

Key Responsibilities:

Load the proper product in each tower as orders are processed

 

Monitor product levels to prevent out-of-stocks in the towers and storage area

 

Ensure the correct product and quantity are stacked when working HSPA orders

 

Fill orders in sequence with correct product and quantity on Flow Racks

 

Check product against invoice to prevent shortages / overages

 

Maintain inventory according to code dates   

 

Load and unload delivery trucks while ensuring accuracy of order

 

Verify products received and match bill of lading

 

Skills / Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Read, write, and speak English

 

Physical Demands:

Consistently lifts products weighing up to 50 pounds

Regularly bends, stoops and kneels

Frequently walks up and down stairs

Ability to stand on feet for 12 hours per work shift

 

Position: Full-time

Job Title: Cashier

Department: Information Technology

  

Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for counting, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy of the Customer Service Representatives daily receipts. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Verify accuracy of Customer Service Representative’s (CSR) transactions

 

Count daily cash receipts using currency counters

 

Balance invoices to collections for each CSR’s route

 

Identify errors and assist CSR in corrections

 

Print and distribute end of day reports

 

Skills / Requirements:

Ten key by touch

Fundamental math skills

Basic computer skills

Previous cashier experience preferred

Ability to work a flexible afternoon and evening schedule

 

Position: Part-time, 25 - 30 hours per week.
